Useful spreadsheet functionality is conveniently put at your disposal by Citadel5 via its GS-Calc application. Get the application and via its user friendly interface you will have no problems working with spreadsheets: enter and organize data, analyze data, perform statistical calculations, create reports and more.

GS-Calc will work with machines powered by Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. The setup wizard that will install GS-Calc on your Windows powered machine will ask you to choose the installation folder, pick if you want shortcuts, select the default file format, and register scripting interface and file extensions.

You can use GS-Calc at your office and on the go. The aforementioned setup wizard puts a “Portable setup” option at your disposal. This means you can install GS-Calc on a portable device and take it with you.

The easiest way to get started with GS-Calc is to load the built-in sample. All the data from this sample is presented on the application’s main panel. Click through the entries in the Workbook to the left to see some sample 2d charts, 3D charts, and pivot tables. Above this main panel there’s a toolbar with buttons for various features and functions GS-Calc has to offer.

And there are quite a few features and functions to go through: encryption, content & statistics, print, save as PDF, convert, find & replace, insert 2D chart, insert 3D chart, insert columns, insert rows, save and load profiles, protect cells, some 300 built-in formulas, hierarchically organized worksheets, import and export, and more.

GS-Calc is not free, it is only free to try. The trial version comes with the following limitations: watermark on output, 10 worksheets max per workbook, exporting is limited to 5,000 lines, only 2 cores are used when recalculating formulas, 30-day trial period.

Useful functionality is put at your disposal by GS-Calc. Use this versatile tool to work with spreadsheets.

Pros

You can install GS-Calc on your desktop machine or on a portable storage device. GS-Calc works with any Windows edition from Windows XP up to Windows 8. There’s a built-in sample that you can load. The interface is user friendly. Lots of useful features to go through,

Cons

Multiple trial limitations.
